Small, healthy habits can form the foundation for a bigger, brighter future
COMMUNITY. ACCOUNTABILITY. HOPE
These are the three core beliefs that Hilltop House has been built on.
Community. We can’t do it alone. We need connection. Honesty. Vulnerability. Willingness to show people who we really are and what’s really happening inside of us. Addiction, at it’s core, is a profound sense of disconnect and isolation. Connection is the remedy. Connecting to other sober addicts. Asking for help. Being seen. Being a part of.
Accountability. Allowing someone to hold us to certain standards and expectations is not easy. We want to hold your hand as you develop the healthy habits to build a positive, functional sober life. Sober living isn’t prison. We’re not here to hold you hostage. We’re here to help. We’re not here to save you. We’re here to support. Give yourself added accountability by committing to being a part of a safe and well structured recovery home.
Hope. You can do it. You can change. You can find long term sobriety. We believe in you. Even if when you’re here, we don’t trust you at all. We don’t trust alcoholism. We don’t trust addiction. But we believe that you have it in you to do the challenging, inconvenient work that must be done in order to truly change. We don’t want you to ever have to go back to treatment. Or a sober living. We want this to be your last stop before you find a functional, useful, grateful sober life.
